I’m so happy to finally have my first E.P. out and about. To actually hold a physical representation of all the work that has gone into this project is beyond satisfying.  

I just had a CD release party last weekend to make it official!  I had so much fun, and having a full band to back me was delightful.  I seriously couldn’t have done it without the help of friends and family.  Whether it was my mom helping me find old, unique lamps for decor, my friends selling my merch, or the opening artists and bands that played so beautifully, it was greatly appreciated.  Everything came together so nicely, I couldn’t have asked for a better release show.  I also had the support of amazing sponsors that helped to make it all possible. 

I have more music on the way, but for now I’m working out details of how to get my music to my loyal friends and fans.  The encouragement and criticism has spurred all this craziness on, and I appreciate it (especially the encouragement).  

I’m looking forward to having more time to write new tunes this summer and get back in touch with music creation.  It’s interesting how sometimes music flows through me during my daily routines.  But how great would it be to plan a little writing getaway?  To find myself in completely new surroundings, lose myself in nature maybe?  I think it would be great fun:)
