[Flash 9 is required to listen to audio.]

Today was my last official day in my senior practicum.  I’m listening to the song that my students wrote for me, and reading their handmade goodbye cards with precious artwork and tearing up a little. I’m going to miss those kiddies.

Life will go on, and they’ll grow up.  I will too(someday i hope, haha).  But I will never forget the impact that they had on my life.  That’s the way it goes, I guess.  We have these brief windows of time that we get to spend with certain people.  Those windows eventually close, but the opportunities we’ve taken to make human connections will remain with us forever.

Awe, I’m getting all sentimental now.  I love change but I’m always reluctant to take that first step away from the known and toward the “infinite abyss.” (thank you Garden State for lending me a quote)

P.S. This song is basically two lines and 20 seconds long, but it has become my new favorite tune.
